Packaging Design
Packaging design is essential as it is the first thing a person will see that will introduce them to a brand and product. The colors, text, and structure all play a role in how the brand and product is overall viewed. I love the way that I can bring packing from working on it from a screen to it becoming a physical form that can hold products.
Desk Supplies
A school project to design a unique package. I found this template and wanted to created a desk supply packaging that would be perfect not only as an organization piece but also be colorful and structured that it can sit on someones desk and be a decoration!
Design an Old Packaging
Lux Laundry soap was a real product and Lux is still creating soap today! In a class project we had to pick an older package to take inspiration from and design off of that packaging so that we understand how to build a standard box, have the correct measurements, and have the correct score, bleed, and die line. This was one of my first packaging design project!
This is how I had the document set up for printing on a 12”x18” document.
Images then once I cut out and folded my package, being able to properly close and measurement of designs and typography lined up.
Create A Package
Designing a package for an item I have at home. I choose a perfume bottle I own and decided to redesign the package it would arrive in! The color pallet I chose of the emerald green, black, and gold was based off of the bottle itself and the rich feeling these colors can create. making it feel like a nice expensive product.
Original Brand
This was a project to create your own brand and unique packaging and consider how it would be sold along with where in stores. I created Hair Flair. A brand of hair care products to Add Some Flair to your Hair! Creating this package I kept in mind the flow of hair and the organization of how the products should be in the packaging. This packaging is holding different types of hair clip, hair ties, and hair pins. I kept in mind that a customer can buy this products, the package is nicely deisgn that the customer can keep this sitting on their bathroom counter or vanity to store their hair procuts or can easily remove a single box out of the main container to bring it on the go!
